Optimization, reliability analysis and inverse methods from the big tree of ACES
Last modified: 2017-07-12
Abstract
Optimization, reliability and inverse methods are very important issues in mechanical design. The similarity of these issues is how to balance the performances of efficiency, accuracy and reliability. Moreover, optimization is the forward evaluation of the inverse method. In this presentation, several novel methods and techniques should be introduced. Some of them have been successfully applied for the real engineering problems, such as vehicle and other complex equipment. It should be noted that another similarity of these issues is that the beginning of these methods are all from ACES. They should be regarded as the important branches of the big tree of ACES.
