Development of Total Integrated Analysis Technology for High-Pressure Automotive Fuel Pump

Abstract
Pressure of a high-pressure automotive fuel pump has been increaded to meet regulations. It is necessary to predict valve motion in the pump precisely to obtain design satisfying such regulations. Accurate prediction of fluid force acting on the valve is key issue. Therefore, we have developed 1D valve mechanism simulator using performance table of flow force obtained by 3D flow analysis. The effectiveness of the proposed platform has been eveluated through a comparison between experiment and simulation.
