Abstract

For the underground structure, the uncertainty of earthquake dynamic and soil parameters are the main factors affecting the seismic reliability analysis. Considering the uncertainty of seismic parameters of soil structure interaction model as much as possible is the key to accurately obtain its seismic reliability. There have been a lot of achievements in the research on the randomness of ground motion, and the static reliability analysis of underground structures is also being carried out. However, the dynamic problem of the influence of soil parameter uncertainty on the seismic reliability of underground structures needs to be further explored. Therefore, a large number of random seismic waves and random soil parameters are generated by Monte Carlo method, and these random parameters are input into the finite element model for nonlinear dynamic time history analysis. The results of seismic reliability analysis considering the randomness of soil parameters and not considering the randomness of soil parameters are compared. The results show that the randomness of soil parameters has a great influence on the seismic reliability analysis of underground structures, and the uncertainty of ground motion and soil parameters should be considered in the seismic design of underground structures.
